Short Film - A Message to our Town

A film exploring the topic of race in the rural town of Grimsby. Back in June 2020 a Black Lives Matter march was held in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire. This film was made in response to that event. Hamza, Dorian, Christine and Daniah share their experiences of growing up in Grimsby, where 95.4% of the resident population is White British. Each share their experience of racism, the impact racism has had on their lives and what we can all do to help battle it. Please take a moment to listen. Also featured on BBC Radio Humberside.
