Sounds like an Insult Monologue
A monologue from the Clean Break play Sounds like an Insult by Vivienne Franzmann. The play gives snapshots of the lives of women with personality disorders and their experiences in the criminal justice system. During her research Vivienne Franzmann met lots of women with 'different experiences and responses' to their diagnosis, 'yet all of the women seemed to have lived lives characterised by chaos, a sense of isolation and a feeling of otherness. This monologue stands alone in the text and is the first time we meet this character. - Róisín McBrinn and Laura Mooney in Rebel Voices.
